October 28, 2025 — St. George’s, Grenada: The Investment Migration Agency (IMA) Grenada has released IMA Grenada Circular 11-2025, announcing enhanced compliance requirements for applicants under Grenada’s Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme. Effective November 10, 2025, the circular reinforces the Agency’s commitment to transparency, legitimacy, and international best practice in the verification of investment funds.
Key Updates at a Glance
-
Applicant Attestation Form:
All applicants investing in an approved CBI project must complete and notarise an Applicant Attestation Form, confirming that the funds used for investment originate from their own verifiable resources —or, where applicable, from a sponsor’s verified resources as outlined in the sponsor’s application.
 -
Bank Credit Advice:
Applicants are now required to submit Bank Credit Advice evidencing that the investment funds were transferred directly by the applicant (or by the declared sponsor) into the developer’s account, prior to being moved into the official escrow or government-approved account. Should a licensed agent make the required payment to a developer on behalf of a client, the agent is required to submit Bank Credit Advice evidencing receipt of the funds from the client and Bank Credit Advice evidencing the funds being transferred to the developer’s account on behalf of the client.

Purpose and Impact
These enhanced requirements are aligned with international Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards. The goal is to ensure that all qualifying investments remain legitimate, traceable, and transparent, thereby preserving the Programme’s integrity and safeguarding the interests of genuine investors.
